FAQ

Will there be a 2025 Spring Season?
We are currently planning our 2025 season. Registration will open on December 1st, 2024.

How is the league age determined?

See the little league age calculator  to calculate your player's correct league age.

What are evaluations and when will they be for my player?
Evaluations are used at the Minors, Majors, and Juniors level to help the Managers and Coaches draft the teams for the respective divisions. By conducting a draft, the league is able to have more balanced teams.  The evaluations also help the board determine if a player should play at a division higher or lower than the requested level.  For safety reasons, the league may move a player to an alternate division than the one requested.  Evaluations for Majors and Minors will be held Saturday February 8th. Time and Place TBD.  Junior Evaluations are TBD.

When will we hear from my child’s manager/coach?
In most divisions (Tee Ball through Juniors) the team manager or coach will call or email you 2 weeks after Evaluations, the week of February 17th.

When does the season start and end?
Practice for Tee Ball through Juniors starts the week of February 24th.  Practice days for each team will vary depending on field allocations.  Teams will be assigned two practice slots per week.  The regular season for Tee Ball through Majors divisions starts on Opening Day, March 22nd with the Juniors division the following week. The RMLL season ends tentatively the end of May, near the last day of school.  If your player is selected for All-Star Tournament Play, teams will be announced in June with practices and games starting in June.

Where and when are practices and games?
Practices and games for the instructional divisions (Tee Ball and Coach Pitch) will be at local elementary schools, Red Mountain High School, or Sunshine Acres twice a week.  Practices and games for other divisions will be at Red Mountain High School, Sunshine Acres, Fremont Jr. High, and/or Quail Run Park depending on the division.  Juniors may play elsewhere if they inter-league with other Leagues.  Practice and game times/days vary for the Rookies through Juniors. Teams will generally practice and/or play twice per week.  ALL DIVISIONS may practice or play games Monday-Saturday with the younger divisions getting the earlier starts during the week, around 5pm.

What does the league supply for uniforms, equipment, and trophies?
Uniforms – Jerseys and Hats are provided by the league.
Equipment – RMLL supplies catching gear for all divisions and also includes bases, and tees for appropriate divisions.
Championship Rings - Provided to the league champs for Rookies, Minors, and Majors.  T-Ball, Coach Pitch, and Juniors will receive participation medals.
