Majors

Majors
Major Division Baseball  is available for boys and girls ages 10-12. It is a competitive baseball program focused on improving pitching and advanced baseball plays.   More advanced skills such as bunting, double plays, the use of signs, and calling pitches are expected at this level.  Every player gets at least two at bats and plays at least 6 outs in the field.

Players are expected to stay in the dugout or on the field of play during a game and are not allowed to leave to visit Parents or friends.  Parents are not allowed in the dugout.  Injuries or bathroom breaks are the only exception.

Games are scheduled for NO NEW inning after 90 minutes so they are typically complete in less than 2-hrs.  Games are typically played at Quail Run, Red Mountain High School or Fremont Junior High.  Practices are held at Quail Run, Fremont Junior High, or Red Mountain High School.

Pitch Count
RMLL and Little League International are focused on protecting young pitchers arms.  RMLL will comply with Little League rules regarding pitch count.

Volunteers
Majors division require lots of Parent Volunteers to help coach players in the field and at practice, to organize team activities, keep score, and umpire.  This division may have a snack after the game, but this is usually left up to each team.
